Nica Adult Family Home LLC

Our provider/owner is an RN. BSN with a work experience of 19 years from nursing homes, Harborview Medical Center ( Trauma Unit ), Swedish Medical Center ( orthopeadic/spine unit ), home IV infusion, and adult family home. Co-provider is a licensed practical nurse with a long term care experienced of at least 20 years speciallizing in dementia and mental health clients.

Our caregivers are licensed as required by the State of Washington and background check are thoroughly done prior to empolyment to ensure the safety of your family.

Who We Are

We started our first home in October 2004 in Edmonds under the name St Jude Thaddeus AFH LLP. As a staff nurse in various care settings we have noticed that we are spending very little time with our patients, primarily because we are only given 8 hours to do so many task. After  5 years of doing adult family home, we can honestly testify that it is very rewarding. Now, we have more time knowing not only our residents but also their family.

 Our adult family home was featured  twice in Nurse Week Magazine Mountain West( January 30, 2006 ) and Nurse Week Northwest Editon ( August 13, 2007 ) issues.
